Len Kline is a third-generation veteran of the insurance industry with over 30 years of experience. Prior to founding Ascension, he served as CEO of Compass Insurance Agency Inc. where he consolidated middle-market agencies in the Southern U.S. Prior to joining Compass, he was Managing Director/Chairman of Marsh & McLennan’s Kansas City office from 1994 to 2001.
Cal Stolle brings 30 years of executive financial leadership and experience to Ascension Insurance, Inc., including a successful record of identifying and completing numerous strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Ascension, he held senior financial management positions at Black & Veatch Corporation, where he was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures, including $125 million in corporate acquisitions in the U.S. and abroad.
Bob Schneider serves as Ascension's Chief Financial Officer, and brings extensive experience involving IPOs, Private Equity backed LBOs, Debt Restructurings, Mergers, Acquisitions and Diverstitures. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice President & CFO of USI Holdings, Inc. Bob earned a BS degree from State University of New York, is a Certified Public Accountant, and has completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program.
Robert Smith is Ascension Insurance, Inc.’s Executive Vice President of Operations and brings extensive operational expertise to the organization. He is responsible for operational support and providing expertise to each of the Ascension agencies including enhancing efficiency, generating sales growth, facilitating the cross-selling of services throughout the organization, and supporting the acquisition strategy.
James Ingraham serves as General Counsel and brings 30 years of private practice and in-house corporate experience providing legal services and solutions to the financial services industry. He is responsible for all aspects of Ascension's legal affairs, including the areas of acquisitions and mergers, contracts, corporate governance, litigation management, and securities and regulatory compliance.
