Ascension Insurance, Inc. Welcomes Jennie Hunsberger
Ascension Insurance, Inc. announced today that Jennie Hunsberger has joined its western regional benefits team as Assistant Vice President and Producer. She will be based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Walnut Creek, California.
In her new role, Jennie will serve as a retirement advisor and service the comprehensive needs of employers related to their retirement plans. Jennie has worked in the retirement industry with employers and participants since 2003. During the course of her career, she has specialized in recordkeeping, compliance, and investments. Prior to joining Ascension, she worked as a Lead Wholesaler at Fidelity Investments creating, evaluating, and monitoring retirement-plan investments. Before Fidelity, Jennie worked with various service providers—including ADP, Lincoln Financial, and Ryan Beck & Co.—providing recordkeeping and compliance services for employers and industry professionals.

Jennie earned her Retirement Plan Fundamentals certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and holds the following licenses: Series 7 Brokerage Securities, Series 66 Registered Investment Advisor, and Certified 401(k) Professional (CKP). She has a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Economics and International Relations from Gettysburg College.
